25 - Chuck OD Session: If you are not planning on doing the Spring Tour you can join other MVT members at the White Residence to sacrifice chickens and say strange things in Latin to try and exorcize the demons from their TR6 OD unit. If not, you can join us in drinking coffee, eating donuts, and throwing in suggestions from the side.

MAY 17, 2020, 9:00am to 3:00pm. REGISTRATION 9:00 AM – NOON (Only preregistered cars admitted on the field after noon). A portion of your registration fee will be donated to The British Transportation Museum in Dayton. The first 150 registrants will receive an event dash plaque and registration pack. 31- "Brits @ Burg" British Transportation Museum Car Show: The show in Miamisburg. Click here for entry form. The Show runs from 10 AM to 5 PM on May 31, 2020. Car registration fee is $15 if in before May 18th and $18 the day of the Show. Registration is limited to the first 100 cars. Peoples Choice judging for numerous classes. Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle to help fund the Museum. The Show is followed by the Ohio Valley British Brass Band in concert in the band shell. Many nearby restaurants to enjoy. 


June 2020

6 - IBCU'S LONDON TO BRIGHTON RUN - SATURDAY, JUNE 6 2020 8:00 AM

On November 14, 1896, the first London to Brighton Run was held in England to celebrate raising the speed limit from 4 to 14 mph. IBCU celebrates the 124th anniversary of this event with its annual rally/tour across Indiana, for all British cars. Participants will enjoy a drive along some interesting roads in central Indiana, answering challenging questions and taking photos along the way. Trophy plaques will be awarded to the top ten finishers.

Start (Breakfast - 8 am, First car off - 9:30 am): The run will start at Scamahorn Park, 130 East Main St., Pittsboro, IN 46167
*Drivers can use either I-74 West or Hwy 136 west exits to Pittsboro.
*A full breakfast (included in the registration!) will be available beginning around 8 am, with driver’s meeting at 9 am and first car off at 9:30am.
End: The end of this fantastic drive will be The Beef House Restaurant in Covington, IN! Expect to arrive around 2pm for early dinner/late lunch (not included in registration). The Beef House Restaurant located at 16501 IN-63, Covington, IN 47932 is reserved from 2pm-5pm for guests running in the event. Located at the NW corner of I-74 and IN-63 intersection.

26-28 – Mid-Ohio Vintage Races - This year Triumph is the featured marque.  The Kastener cup race will be Saturday at 3:35 and another "reunion" event on Sunday at noon that weekend and will bring in a lot of cars. We have heard that the Huffaker TR7 and TR8 race cars will be there from CA.  There are lots of other races all weekend.  Some club members plan to go up for at least one day, most likely with an overnight.  Camping is available on the grounds and there are hotels within 25 miles.  Provisional schedule of events is at link below. Early ticket sale is $40 for weekend but only until March 2nd.

10 - Spring Classic Driving Tour VIII.  The annual Spring Drive to kick off a summer of British Car Fun departs New Richmond this year.  Each Marque will have a designated space along Front St. for the morning queue up, each club will be dispatched from their gathering point on the historic waterfront before heading out into the wilds of southern Ohio. 

A new Amish Market will accommodate our comfort break during the route that features many fresh roads and scenic views on the four-hour tour.  Again, this year we will stop to “Entertain The Troops” at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown for a half hour car show for the residents. Last year was a big hit, the residents and staff were very grateful for those that visited, sharing their cars and brightening the day for many. Return to New Richmond in early afternoon, where the tour cars will park along the waterfront. $25/car, includes Coffee and Baked Delicacies in the morning.
